Pawan Hans is resuming daily helicopter services from 12th May 2005, from Agastya Muni (distt. Rudraprayag) to Kedarnath. Flight will depart from Agastya Muni daily between 6:30 am to 11:10 am, by a 5-seater Bell 407 helicopter. Agast Muni is located 17 km beyond Rudraprayag enroute to Kedarnath. 35 kms from Almora, Jageshwar is believed to be the adobe of twelve Jyotirling's. It is situated in a beautiful narrow valley surrounded by magnificent Deodar trees. The complex, consisting of 124 temples and hundreds of statues, is famous not merely for its exquisite craftsmanship but also for its Swayambhu Linga named Nagesh.
In Jageshwar, fairs are held during Shivaratri and in the month of 'Savan' (July, August). The place is frequented by both religious as well as nature lover tourists.
